This chapter attempts, in a very brief manner, to shed light on the history of the Geneva Judiciary Power, its jurisdictions and services, its magistrates, as well as on the issues pertaining to the field of justice.
The texts we are publishing come from different sources. They have no scientific claims and are sometimes fragmentary. They are nevertheless intended as a contribution to the knowledge of the history of Geneva's justice system and its agents.
